These terms apply to the use of our website and to the packing, moving, vehicle transportation, storage and logistics services provided by Safe Express Movers. By requesting a quote or booking a service, you agree to these terms. The written quotation for your move may include additional terms specific to your booking.
1. Quotations
- Quotations are based on the information you provide, including addresses, item list, floor and lift access, and moving date.
- A quotation is valid for the period shown on it.
- If the actual goods, access conditions, route or date differ from what was shared, the charges may change. We will tell you about any change before carrying out the additional work.
- Charges for items such as extra packing material, additional labour, long carries, waiting time, extra stops, tolls or special handling apply only where stated in the quotation or agreed with you.
2. Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed when you accept the quotation and pay any advance amount stated on it.
- Payment terms, including the advance and balance due, are shown on your quotation or invoice. The balance is payable as stated, normally before unloading or delivery.
- We issue a GST invoice for services where applicable.
- Payments can be made by the methods listed on the invoice. Please use only the official bank or UPI details printed on our documents.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the goods, addresses, access and timing.
- Arrange any building, society or site permissions, lift bookings, parking and entry passes needed at both pickup and delivery.
- Be present, or have an authorised person present, at pickup and delivery to check the inventory.
- Keep cash, jewellery, important documents, medicines and other valuables with you. These should not be handed over with the goods.
- Disconnect, empty and prepare appliances as advised by their manufacturers before the move.
- For vehicle transport, remove personal belongings from the vehicle and provide the documents we ask for, such as copies of the RC and insurance.
4. Items we do not carry
We do not transport illegal goods, or hazardous items such as gas cylinders, fuel, explosives, firearms, flammable liquids, chemicals, or perishable food. We may refuse any item that we consider unsafe to carry. Plants, pets and items of exceptional value are moved only if specifically agreed in writing.
5. Packing, loading and transit
- We will take reasonable care when packing, loading, transporting and unloading your goods.
- Goods packed by you are carried as packed, and we cannot inspect their contents.
- Schedules and delivery dates given are estimates. Delays can be caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, permissions or other events outside our control.
- An inventory or item list prepared at pickup should be checked and signed by you or your representative.
6. Insurance, damage and claims
- Transit insurance, if available, is optional and charged separately on the declared value of your goods. Its coverage and terms are governed by the insurance policy.
- Please check your goods at delivery and note any visible damage or missing items on the delivery receipt.
- Report any damage or loss to us in writing as soon as possible, and within the time stated in your quotation or insurance terms, with photos where possible.
- Except where insurance has been taken or the law requires otherwise, our liability for loss or damage is limited as stated in your quotation. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, mechanical or electrical faults inside appliances, or damage to goods packed by you.
7. Storage
Storage charges, duration and access terms are agreed separately. Goods in storage are released after outstanding charges are paid.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
9. Use of the website
The content on this website is for general information about our services. You agree not to misuse the website, submit false information, or attempt to disrupt its operation. Website content, including our name and logo, belongs to Safe Express Movers and may not be copied without permission.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your booking, together with your written quotation, applies to that booking.
